Biography

Samer N. Roy MD has been practicing traditional medicine in the West Monroe/Monroe area since 1998. Dr. Roy has 24 years of experience in Internal Medicine.

He has privileges at Glenwood Medical Center (GWMC) and Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC). Dr Roy sees his own patients if admitted to the hospital.

Dr. Roy is native of Monroe, Louisiana. He graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1987. He completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-Medicine from Northeast Louisiana University (NLU) now known as University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) in 1991. Dr Roy went on to complete his Medical Doctorate at Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport (LSUMC-S) in 1998. He finished his Residency in Internal Medicine at LSUMC-S in 1998.

Dr Roy is married and has five children. He enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with his family and collecting comics. Dr. Roy’s clinic is located in the West Monroe Medical Mall.
