EKG (Electrocardiogram)
The test is done by placing electrodes (small, sticky patches) on your chest, arms, and legs. The electrodes are connected to a machine that records the electrical activity of your heart.
The test is painless. You may feel a little bit of pressure when the electrodes are placed on your skin. The test usually takes about 10 minutes.
Your doctor will review the results of the test with you.
